How does the Special Rate work?
Your Special Rate is your Base Rate (the current market exchange rate for your corridor) improved by the Special-Rate Credit you've earned through cashback. The more credit you've accumulated, the better the exchange rate you receive on every transfer.
What is the AUD 100 Welcome Cashback Balance?
Every new TopRate customer receives AUD 100 (or NZD 100 in New Zealand) in Special-Rate Credit as a Welcome Cashback Balance upon completing identity verification (KYC). This credit is applied immediately to improve your exchange rate from your very first transfer.
When do I move to the next cashback tier?
Your tier is determined by your total lifetime completed transfers at the moment each new transfer completes. Once you cross a tier threshold (15, 30, or 60 completed transfers), your cashback rate increases automatically on all subsequent eligible transfers.
Does my cashback credit expire?
Your Special-Rate Credit does not expire while your account is active and in good standing. Credit accrues on every eligible transfer and remains available until you close your account or your account is suspended for policy breaches.
What counts as an eligible transfer for the referral bonus?
Your friend must sign up to TopRate using your unique referral link and successfully complete their first eligible transfer (cleared and not reversed or refunded). Every new customer starts with AUD 100 in Special-Rate Credit once they complete registration and identity verification — referred or not. Your referral reward is a separate AUD 20 fee credit.
