Before you send

  • Australian law requires us to obtain, verify and record identifying information about all customers.
  • We may ask for photographic evidence of your identity, such as a copy of your passport or driver's licence.
  • Verifying your identity is part of our own regulatory obligations, and we do not pass the cost of it on to you.
  • Pay for each transfer from a bank account in your own name.
  • Not all payout methods are available in every country.
  • If your recipient cannot be located or identified, the money is returned to the payment method you used to fund the transfer.

Be careful when someone you do not know asks you to send money: for example after an unsolicited email, for an internet auction, a newspaper or telephone offer, or a promise of love or marriage.
